Welcome - to the site of Baltic Au Pair. We are a Dutch au pair agency for host family and au pairs. We are active in Europe but also in the rest of the World.

An au pair - is typically a young person who wants to improve her knowledge of a language in exchange for looking after the host family’s children and partaking in light housework (related to the children).
An Au Pair is like an older sister or brother therefore she/he should be treated as another member of the family. Many families and au pairs have built up lasting relationships and have often been in attendance at each others weddings or other special occasions many years after spending time together!
Au Pairs provide children with an invaluable exposure to other cultures and can be very educational for them. It is also much nicer for children to have someone who is able to mind them in their own home, someone who becomes a close and trusted friend to them.
Families should note that Au Pairs are not trained childminders and therefore it is at the Families own discretion and risk if they leave the children in the sole care of an Au pair.

Do you know - that au pairs are in most cases cheaper, more efficient and more pleasantly than the regular nursery. Your child is taken care of in its own surroundings. Moreover an au pair gives you more freedom at night and in the weekends. An au pair is in most cases a woman, but it might be also a man. The au pair is taken as a full member of the family and you learn culture, language and habits of the country.
