Host family - Did you ever thought of having an au pair? Do you know that au pairs are in most cases cheaper than the regular nursery? An au pair can provide you more freedom by taking care of some of your daily work at home. You keep more time to do nice activities with your family. Regular nursery don’t offer any help in case of illness of your children but an au pair does. An au pair assures you that your children are taken care of in their own trusted surroundings.

The activities of an au pair - One of the most important activities of an au pair is looking after your children of the host family. The au pair will dress your children, takes care of their breakfast and lunch, brings them to school and collects them again; above all the au pair does play with your children. Finally an au pair can assist you with light household chores as well (see "Guidelines for au pairs and host families").
