Procedure - You are just five steps away of being an au pair. If you take the steps mentioned below, you stand already with one leg abroad.

Step 1: Register - Fill in the entire au pair application form. This provides us with the necessary information which we require to proceed with the mediation.

Step 2: Interview - We will contact you by phone for an interview. During this interview we want to learn more about your person, where after we can find a best matching host family.

Step 3: Family selection - After the initial interview we will search for a host family which has the best match with your personality. When we have found a family, we will send you the family file. After reading the file you should let us know if you like to become in contact with the proposed host family. It is important that you have contact with the host family before we will proceed with the mediation. If you and the host family are a match, some paperwork is required.

Step 4: Paperwork - You need a health certificate, a declaration of good behavior and of course a valid passport for the entire period. For your medical expenses, accidents and liability insurance the host family will effect an insurance for the time that you stay with them.

Step 5: On the road - When you have all paperwork ready, your adventure may start. Normally spoken you will book and pay for your travel by yourself. But if you are lucky, your host family might take care of (a part of) your travel costs.
